Cosmetology 1550 Hour Course

1550 hour course can be completed in as little as 10 months if you choose to pursue school on a full time schedule.
Each day is fully planned with demonstrations, lectures, and most importantly, “hands-on” experience working with hair skin and nails. Students perform all the services they learn in class in our very busy student salon. You can be working on clients in as little as 6 weeks!
Requirements for Admission
Continental Academie of Hair Design has the following requirements for admission:
- All Applicants must have their High School Diploma or have passed the GED exam.
- All Applicants must be a US Citizen or hold a recognized VISA
- All Applicants must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
The application for admission into the cosmetology program must be completed with the following:
- Application for enrollment
- $50 Application Fee
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Copy of Driver’s License or State Identification Card
- 4 Full-faced passport photos
International Applicants will be also need a copy of VISA, INS Documents, Green Card and/or Passport

For those who do not wish to pursue financial aid, the Academie can set you up on a manageable payment plan. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover for your convenience.

Tuition and Fees for the 2012-2013 School year (September – August):

- Enrollment Fee $200
- Tuition $16.480
- Lab Fee $350
- Kit of Tools and Books: $1,100
- Total: $18,180
